Aronui Technical Training Centre is one of the longest established Private Tertiary Training Organisations in New Zealand. Established in 1979, Aronui is New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) registered and accredited, and approved for access to Student Loans and Allowances, for domestic students, and Student Component funding with the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) in New Zealand.
Aronui’s goals and objectives are closely aligned to the enhancement of Maori aspirations, and those of indigenous cultures. An open-door policy has led to a student roll that reflects a diverse, multi-cultural and inclusive learning environment.

Aronui Technical Training Centre constantly and consistently strives for quality and excellence. The organization currently hold a 3 year Audit Cycle with NZQA (the maximum possible), which is a signature of a Best Practice organization.
Facilities
Aronui delivers its training from spacious classrooms, and fully functioning commercial facilities including a 21-acre Horticulture Training Facility and fully equipped Computer Lab. There are additional facilities to cater for private study including resources for researching, internet access, as well as student support facilities.

Code of Practice
Aronui has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Ministry of Education. Copies of the code are available on request from Aronui or from the New Zealand Ministry of Education website www.minedu.govt.nz/goto/international
The Code has been produced to provide a framework for service delivery by education providers and their agents to international students. The sets out the minimum standards of advice and care that are expected of educational providers with respect to international students. The Code applies to the pastoral care and provision of information only, and not to academic standards.
